Ocean Chaos
I let this piece evolve loosely through a few layers of pigment. It started with only a basic marker drawing on the skin and slowly took shape over the course of a year or more. We put more emphasis on the shapes and textures of the tentacles, seaweed, bubbles and lava, in order to evoke more of an abstract feeling than to compose a structured scene. The top of the sleeve blends into a bio-organic chest piece in progress by Carson Hill.
