This sleeve symbolizes rebirth and new life during the warmth of the spring and summer seasons. This piece started out as a half sleeve, and recently was expanded with the moth and cocoon, beetle, and more foliage. Its counterpart, a fall and winter themed half sleeve (viewable elsewhere in my tattoo gallery) will also be expanded at some point.
